1CHICAGO, IL – A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly making a series of threatening phone calls to a Chicago police officer earlier this month.

The suspect, identified as James Norwood of the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street, was taken into custody Friday morning in the 700 block of South Kedzie Avenue.

Police said Norwood was identified as the individual responsible for multiple threats made to an officer on October 4.
