1CUMBERLAND, MD – Traffic was halted Monday morning after a tractor-trailer became stuck beneath the Virginia Avenue underpass, forcing authorities to close the roadway.

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office said the underpass is currently blocked and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

No injuries have been reported.
