MIDDLETOWN – An overnight fire at Budget Beverages in the City of Middletown totally destroyed the business that has been in operation for some 40 years.

The three-alarm blaze at 2 Dolson Avenue broke out shortly after 11 p.m. and kept firefighters busy until the early morning hours of Monday.

Bright orange flames shot into the midnight sky as heavy fire conditions cause a partial collapse of the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
