A woman suffered injuries believed to be life-threatening in a three-vehicle crash Sunday night in Tyngsborough, officials said.
Police and firefighters went to 24 Long Pond Road in Tyngsborough around 6:18 p.m. Sunday for a report of a crash, Police Chief Shaun Woods said in a statement. There, first responders found three vehicles had collided.
A woman, who was driving one of the vehicles sustained potentially life-threatening injuries, according to the statement. She was taken to Tyngsborough High School in an ambulance, then flown to a Worcester-area trauma center by a medical helicopter.
Another woman who was a passenger in a vehicle was taken to a hospital, as was a man driving the other vehicle, Woods said.
