COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Two seats are vacant on the Coventry Town Council, and today is the deadline for applicants to take a shot at filling them.
The seats opened up in October following the resignations of both Robert Delellis in District 5 and former council president Hillary Lima in District 4.
Delellis resigned after he was arrested for a drunk driving charge in East Greenwich, and Lima resigned citing hostility surrounding her position.
Applicants can find information on trying for the seats here .
