Mumbai, Oct 20: Legendary actor Govardhan Asrani, fondly known as Asrani, passed away on Monday at the age of 84 after a prolonged illness. His last rites were performed at the Santacruz Crematorium in Mumbai.
Just hours before his demise, the veteran actor had shared a Diwali message on social media, extending festive wishes to his fans.
A graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, Asrani’s illustrious career spanned over five decades, during which he acted in more than 350 films across Hindi, Gujarati, and Rajasthani cinema.
