Period drama enthusiasts will be eagerly watching Channel 5's brand new series on Monday, October 20. The Forsytes, which offers a fresh interpretation of John Galsworthy's Forsyte Saga novels, chronicles the lives, loves, trials and triumphs of a wealthy late Victorian stockbroking family.

The new series boasts an impressive cast including Poldark's Eleanor Tomlinson, Susan Hampshire, who originally appeared in The Forsyte Saga in 1967, Coronation Street star Millie Gibson, and Home and Away's Joshua Orpin. Also featuring are Downton Abbey's Tuppence Middleton , True Blood actor Stephen Moyer, and Jack Davenport.
