PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — The CEO of the Utah-based cookie company, Crumbl, paid the Big 12 a fine for BYU fans rushing the field after BYU's victory over the Utah Utes on Saturday night.
After BYU extended its winning streak over Utah to three straight games, thousands of fans stormed the field, an action that could potentially lead to a fine from the Big 12.
However, Crumbl shared that when its CEO, Jason McGowan, learned that no one would be allowed to go on the field, he offered to pay the fine.
