Four males have been arrested and charged after nearly £170,000 worth of drugs and £20,000 in cash was recovered by officers in Aberdeenshire.

Police searched a property on Riverside Drive in Aberdeen at around 10.30am on Sunday. A quantity of diamorphine and crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £120,000 and over £6000 was seized.

Three males - aged 17, 20 and 22 years - were arrested and charged in connection and they were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

Officers also stopped a car in Portlethen at around 1pm on Sunday. A quantity of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £41,000 and over £20,000 cash was seized.
