CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The weekend served as a North American Hockey League East Division measuring stick for the Johnstown Tomahawks.

The first-place Maryland Black Bears visited the 1st Summit Arena for two dates against the Tomahawks, who entered those games second in the division standings. The Bears completed the two-game sweep with a 6-3 victory over the Tomahawks in front of 1,642 fans Saturday night. Johnstown lost its third straight game and dropped from a three-way tie for second place into the fifth spot in the 10-team division.
