LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State Police are warning drivers after a state trooper was hurt after a crash.
The trooper was one of three people taken to the hospital on Sunday on I-96 in Detroit.
Police say the trooper pulled over to investigate an unrelated crash when a man lost control of his SUV and crashed into the patrol car.
The trooper and two passengers were hurt, but all three are expected to survive.
Investigators say the man was driving too fast for wet weather.
Troopers say slow down when driving in the rain.
