Jetblue, Spirit, and American Airlines Will Shift Gates This Week
Major changes are underway at Los Angeles International Airport, where Terminal 5 will begin shutting down next week ahead of a complete demolition and rebuild as part of the airport’s multi-year modernization effort. Los Angeles World Airports said the last day of operations inside the terminal will be Oct. 28, with airlines relocating in phases beginning Tuesday.
JetBlue will move to Terminal 1 first, followed by Spirit Airlines’ shift to Terminal 2 on Wednesday. American Airlines will consolidate operations inside Terminal 4 starting Oct. 28, the day Terminal 5 officially ceases passenger service.
