(Minot, ND) — One local landmark is getting a big boost. Thanks to a more than 110-thousand-dollar grant, the Scandinavian Heritage Association will be updating the Scandinavian Heritage Park. Sara Coleman, the director of the tourism and Marketing Division, said the upgrades will help continue to celebrate the culture while also boosting tourism throughout the community. The grant money comes from the Destination Development Grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce. There are 23 projects across the state that have been awarded money from this grant.
