COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —
Charges are pending against a driver accused in a motorcycle crash that critically injured a 17-year-old in Council Bluffs.
The crash happened Saturday night along North Broadway near Hoover Elementary School. Investigators said a truck, driven by 52-year-old Jason Lee Evans, rear-ended a motorcycle, driven by 17-year-old Hayden Baker.

Evans left the scene and was later located by officers, Council Bluffs police said. A search warrant was granted for his blood as he was showing signs of impairment, according to investigators.
Council Bluffs police said warrants will be issued for Evans' arrest after the toxicology results are complete and charges are pending at this time.
