KINGMAN — Mohave County's "temporary fix" for its medical examiner's services will continue for at least another year after a split Mohave County Board of Supervisors voted to keep its current provider under contract through the end of 2026.

After a lengthy discussion, supervisors voted 3-2 for a one-year contract — with options for renewal for up to four additional years — with Serenity Memorial Group, of Fort Mohave, to provide the mandated medical examiner's services for the county. The contract is for $87,500 monthly for an annual figure of $1,050,000. ×
