Arizona State wrestling paid a visit to Yuma this past week, hosting one of several “Town Hall” meetings set around the state to discuss local wrestling, as well as promote the new Southwest Wrestling Club.
ASU head wrestling coach Zeke Jones led the meeting at Pint House Bar & Grill last Thursday, a series that took place across the duration of last week as the ASU group stopped in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Tucson and Yuma.
“It’s great to get out in the community,” Jones said. “For so long, people have made their way to Tempe to watch ASU wrestling, football, basketball – all our great sports. I just thought it was time we got out into places like Yuma, Flagstaff and Tucson. It’s good to see our people and the folks who really love wrestling and our Sun Devil program.”
