Russell Wilson is hitting back at his former coach Sean Payton .

If you didn’t know, Sean , is the head coach of the Denver Broncos and previously coach Russell , 36, during the 2022 to 2023 season. Russell is the now the quarterback for the New York Giants.

When the Broncos played the Giants on Sunday, October 19, Russell was benched and rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart played instead.

After the Broncos defeated the Giants 33-32, Sean praised Jaxson , 22, and took a subtle dig at Russell .

“They found a little spark with that quarterback,” Sean said , referring to Jaxson , who has replaced Russell as the starter after the Giants began the season 0-3.
