METAIRIE, La. — There's the Grinch who stole Christmas, but now in Metairie, there’s the ghoul who stole Halloween decorations.

One family tells us that it was zip ties that kept their biggest, scariest items from getting away.

The Grundmeyer family loves Halloween. Decorating is bigger than Christmas.

“Halloween’s just our thing. We love Halloween more,” said Ashley Grundmeyer, 23.

Every year it gets bigger and bigger.

“Yeah, we love dressing up and so me and my mom start planning it like five, six months before. So, what we're going to wear to the Halloween party is like a huge thing for us.”
