CHEYENNE — The Laramie County School District 1 Board of Trustees voted Monday night to present a resolution to limit the length of termination hearings to the Wyoming School Board Association (WSBA) next month.

The motion was one of many approved by the school board on Monday, with the intent of improving school services and better allocating district funds, including a resolution making adjustments to employee health benefits, funding educational resources for students and introducing a school improvement plan.

Terminations

The resolution is intended to address issues the district has faced with terminating employees over the past 10 years, through the advocacy of the WSBA, according to Trustee Brittany Ashby.
