MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Safe Task Force has arrested four men, including a self-admitted gang member, after executing a search warrant in a “violent offender sweep” Monday.

The U.S. Marshals Service says the arrests were made Monday afternoon at a home in the area of Washburn Drive in Southwest Memphis.

Martavious Matthews, 26, is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, theft, evading arrest, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
