Imphal, October 21 2025: Indian Army celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour at Mamang Leikai, Hautak and Thinungei in Bishnupur District, together with the local populace.

According to a release issued by the Indian Army, the celebration aimed to strengthen the bond between the Army and the community, reflecting the spirit of unity, peace, and national integration.

The event commenced with the lighting of divas and offering of prayers for peace and prosperity.

Soldiers and local residents interacted warmly, sharing festive cheer through cultural performances and the exchange of sweets, symbolizing joy togetherness, and camaraderie.

Senior officers extended warm greetings to all ranks, families, and the local community, appreciating their continued cooperation
