Police are searching for a hit-run driver who left a seriously injured pedestrian at the scene of a collision in Melbourne's east last month.
CCTV footage shows Sally Lusted, 48, crossing at the intersection of Springfield and Mitcham Roads about 12.10pm on September 29 when she was hit by a dark coloured sedan turning right.
Vision shows Lusted being flung about a metre down the road after hitting the bonnet of the car.
The female driver of the sedan briefly exited the vehicle to assist Lusted, who was lying on the ground visibly in the pain.
The driver then told Lusted she left her phone at home and needed to leave to call an ambulance, according to police.
She left the Lusted at the scene without calling triple zero and failed to do so after she left.
