BOSTON — When the Bruins took the ice for warmups, Hampus Lindholm was noticeably absent despite taking part in Tuesday’s practice.
“It was a game-time decision, and he said he can’t go after the morning skate today, or this afternoon,” coach Marco Sturm said after Boston’s 4-3 loss to the Florida Panthers. “So we’ll see tomorrow.”
Tuesday marked the second straight game Lindholm missed. The defenseman suffered a lower-body injury in Boston’s home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks — an injury Sturm classified as minor and not related to the knee injury Lindholm suffered last year.
Lindholm has missed four of the Bruins’ first eight games to begin the 2025-26 season. He played in Boston’s loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 18, but hasn’t played since.
