Hampus Lindholm was a surprise absence from the Bruins lineup for Tuesday’s loss to Florida, at TD Garden but it was his replacement who went on injured reserve on Wednesday.
The Bruins announced that Jordan Harris, who has filled in for Lindholm for five games, is headed to IR.
It’s unclear when Harris was hurt or what he injured. He played a regular shift through the third period.
Franklin native Michael Callahan, who, like Lindholm and Harris, shoots left, has been summoned from Providence to replace him on the Bruins roster. He was at Boston’s optional skate on Wednesday. Hampus Lindholm was also on the ice.
Harris, whom the Bruins signed as a free agent during the offseason, made the roster out of training camp as the seventh defenseman. He has a goal and an assist in five
