At long last, Knicks basketball has returned.

After an NBA doubleheader on Opening Night, 24 teams are in action to kickoff their own 2025-26 regular season.

One of those teams is the Knicks, who begin their campaign under new leadership in head coach Mike Brown , a two-time Coach of the Year award winner who most recently was with the Sacramento Kings from 2022-24.

Brown has his work cut out for him, as he's now in charge of guiding a Knicks organization that was just two wins away from their first NBA Finals appearance in a quarter century, when they lost to the San Antonio Spurs in five games in 1999.

In addition, the Knicks depth will also be tested early as both Josh Hart (back) and Mitchell Robinson (load management) have been ruled out for Wednesday night's home opener.
