Low-income pensioners are being alerted to a second form of cost-of-living support coming on top of Winter Fuel Payments.

The fuel payments, worth up to £300, will be entering bank accounts from November 1 for millions of retirees.

But it's not the only financial support low-income pensioners are getting.

Many will also be eligible for the £150 Warm Home Discount (WHD).

This is a one-time cut to energy bills during winter.

Some of the poorest pensioners, those on the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit, will qualify for the discount.
