ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The man accused of planning a mass shooting at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is expected to appear before a judge on Wednesday morning.
Billy Joe Cagle, 49, from Cartersville, is charged with terroristic threats, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
On a federal level, Cagle is also facing charges of attempted violence at an international airport, interstate communications containing threats to injure the person of another and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Cagle’s first appearance before a judge in Cobb County is scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m
