QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- NYPD officers saved a baby boy, dressed in a blue and white onesie with police cars, from choking in his Queens home earlier this month.

The cops from the 115th Precinct responded to a 911 call for a baby choking in a home near 37th Avenue and 99th Street at around 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 10, according to the NYPD.

When the officers arrived, a woman was holding the unresponsive child before a quick-thinking cop swooped in, the body-worn camera footage showed.

The officer grabbed the 10-month-old, turned him over on his stomach, and patted his back to dislodge the obstruction in his throat as worried family members watched, according to bodycam video.

Shortly after, the baby is heard crying, to the relief of everyone in the room.
