LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - An SUV with tools and a handgun inside was stolen in Lincoln Tuesday morning.
Lincoln Police officers responded to the report of an auto theft near 38th and F streets at 6:05 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers learned a white 2018 Hyundai Tucson that was parked on the street the night before was stolen the next morning. LPD said there was shattered glass on the ground where the SUV was parked.
LPD said the Hyundai, worth an estimated $10,400, had $10,000 worth of tools and a 9mm Sig Sauer handgun worth $800 inside.
The vehicle is reported to have damage to the front passenger side bumper area and a ‘LOU FUSZ’ dealership paper on the front bumper area.
