ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -As MODOT continues to make progress on its largest road improvement project in its history, one St. Charles County lawmaker is hoping a proactive approach will help save lives.
State Representative Tricia Byrnes represents Wentzville in Missouri’s 63rd District and said she’s had growing concerns over the construction zone along Interstate 70 from Foristell to the I-64/70 interchange.
“It’s going to get worse before it gets better,” she said. “I think we need to be proactive and think about what the average, every day driver’s experience is driving through this corridor.”
