GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Looking to indulge in candy while petting adorable pups in Halloween costumes this weekend? You’re in luck!
Pitt County Animal Services announced a free ‘Trunk or Treat’ event happening on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“Families, kids, and ghouls of all ages are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes, grab a candy bucket, and enjoy an afternoon of sweet treats and furry fun,” says Janis Gallagher, Pitt County Manager.
Located at 4550 County Home Road in Greenville, treaters can meet a few of the shelter’s adoptable pets, although adoptions won’t be available during the event.
