In the wake of the Annunciation church shooting tragedy, residents and community members tied blue and green ribbons across Minneapolis in solidarity and support.

Now, the community group Bows of Love is planning the next chapter for the 20,000 ribbons, along with the City of Minneapolis and Annunciation Catholic Church and School.

With the winter season looming, the group is encouraging residents to remove any bows hanging on their property or throughout their neighborhoods.

The bows collected will be saved for a future memorial, and transformed into art.

Bows of Love is leading the collection efforts, and will be posting updated information on their social media channels.

The city does not plan on proactively removing any of the bows, but will take them down starting on October 31 i
