GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - University of Florida Baseball Coach Kevin O’Sullivan announced on Wednesday his plan to take a sudden leave of absence.

University officials say O’Sullivan will be absent from his coaching duties effective immediately as he addresses “personal matters.”

Chuck Jeroloman will lead the UF baseball program while O’Sullivan is out.

“I appreciate the support of the University and athletic department,” said O’Sullivan. “I have some personal and family issues that need my full attention at this time.”
