HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police are looking for someone who stole toys for children in need after a local storage unit was broken into.

Toys for Tots in Huntingdon County said around $5,000 worth of toys were taken from their storage unit.

According to police, multiple units at a self storage facility in Huntingdon were targets and one of them contained toys the nonprofit was collecting to give to children this Christmas.

Sadie Johnston with Toys for Tots said she feels "so defeated" over the theft.

The community is hoping to replace the stolen toys in time for the holidays, with several local businesses hosting toy drives a little early.
