GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — It’s a busy intersection at the corner of North Jackson Highway and Veterans Outer Loop in Glasgow, the same place where three teenagers lost their lives in a car crash last weekend.

Glasgow Police report that the crash occurred just before midnight. A preliminary investigation reveals that a Nissan Altima likely disregarded a traffic light and collided with another vehicle.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing, and it’s too early to say conclusively what caused the crash. However, alcohol and speeding were likely two major contributing factors.
