CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former Charlotte Hornets star Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups have been arrested in connection to a federal gambling-related investigation, according to reports from NBC News and ESPN .

Rozier, who now plays for the Miami Heat, has been linked to unusual betting patterns surrounding his play while he was a member of the Hornets, according to a previous report in the Wall Street Journal . The same probe led to the lifetime ban of Toronto Raptors player Jontay Porter , the NBA confirmed to multiple outlets.

Rozier was arrested in Orlando early Thursday morning. Rozier was in uniform for Wednesday night's game against the Magic but did not play.
