KENYA|| Tension gripped Siaya County after a local headteacher and a married woman were caught in an illicit affair inside a lodging on the town’s outskirts.

The woman’s husband, a bodaboda operator, was alerted by a tip-off and, with fellow riders, stormed the lodging to confront them.

The group found the pair in a compromising situation and proceeded to drag them out, stripping them naked.

The mob then paraded them around town on motorbikes while residents recorded the scene on their phones.

Videos of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread debate across Kenya.

Some sympathized with the husband, while others condemned the mob justice and public humiliation.

Local leaders called for calm and urged that the matter be handled legally by the police.
