MADISON, N.C. (WBTV) - A North Carolina man was arrested after he allegedly used his ties in the rodeo community to sexually assault minors in at least three counties.
Shane Dalton York of Madison was arrested on Friday, Oct. 17, at his home in Stokes County. Allegedly, York formed relationships with minors in Davidson, Iredell and Stokes counties. Those relationships were formed through his involvement in rodeo, Iredell County deputies said, and led to multiple alleged sexual assaults between January and October.

Iredell County deputies charged York with felony human trafficking, two counts of felony statutory rape, and two counts of felony indecent liberties with a minor.
