TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Tallahassee Police issued a statement Thursday addressing a fight that occurred Wednesday afternoon, circulating on social media that same day.

The incident unfolded just after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Tharpe Street and High Road, TPD wrote in a press release Thursday.

Officers arrived on the scene and found two men with injuries suffered during the incident, according to police. The two are expected to survive, police said.

“Both were alert and talking before being transported to a local hospital for treatment,” officers said.

The police department went on to indicate that it is aware of videos that were shared online regarding the fight and said “it is unclear how many of the individuals involved were students,” at this time.
