BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Emergency Services will conduct a full-scale disaster exercise on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Beckley/Raleigh County Health Department, located at 1602 Harper Road in Beckley.

Residents in the area can expect to see an increased presence of emergency vehicles throughout the morning.

Officials ask motorists to yield to emergency responders entering and exiting the area.

Authorities emphasize that this is only a routine training exercise and there is no cause for alarm.

The Beckley/Raleigh County Health Department will remain open during the exercise and continue normal business operations, including patient appointments.
