Woodstock officials this week revisited early plans to improve sidewalks and streetscapes along the Main Street corridor by Massanutten Military Academy, describing the project as a long-term effort to enhance safety and walkability to the southern gateway into downtown.
The discussion, held during Tuesday’s Street Sidewalks & Trails committee meetings, marked a preliminary update on what town staff and consultants describe as a high-level, conceptual review of options for the Route 11 corridor between Hugh Street and Benchoff Drive.
