AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Hajir Talebzedeh, a man accused of fatally shooting his ex-wife and her mother in a Best Buy parking lot in Augusta in September 2025, appeared in court for his first hearing on Thursday.

On Oct. 23, 2025, Magistrate Court Judge Lejoi Williamson heard evidence in the case and then bound the case over to superior court.

Talebzadeh is charged with two counts of murder and one count of child cruelty.

Melissa Cui Domingo and Elizabeth Cui Domingo both died in the shooting.

The child cruelty charge is to the shooting taking place in the presence of their 5-year-old son.
