WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Less than one month before Joe Walsh’s VetsAid concert at Intrust Bank Arena, the Wichita native has announced more than a half-dozen local organizations that will benefit from the November 15 performance .
KanVets United , a local veterans assistance organization, is among the recipients selected to receive proceeds from the charity concert.
The organization was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic to feed homeless veterans. KanVets United has since partnered with the Robert J. Dole VA and other local nonprofits to provide relief for poor, distressed and underprivileged veterans.
