EL DORADO, Kan. (KWCH) - Less than a week after the booster club at El Dorado High School reported that its former treasurer stole most of the club’s money intended to support sports and activities for students, another organization in the community is coming forward as a victim of theft.
The El Dorado Sea Dragons is a summer swim club for kids in the community. The Sea Dragons said that the treasurer who stole from the booster club also stole from the swim club.
“We do have a lot of families that do go to school at El Dorado High School, so it is not must our small team that has been affected. Those families have been affected in multiple ways,” said El Dorado Swim Club Board President Attie Pelnar.
The Sea Dragons said they need to recover the funds, which cover equipment for ever
