KNOX, Maine — A shooting in the town of Knox Thursday afternoon is believed to be an "isolated incident," according to public safety officials.
The incident happened at 4:25 p.m., Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss told NEWS CENTER Maine.
There is reportedly no danger to the public.
Maine State Police responded, according to a NEWS CENTER Maine crew at the scene.
Moss said additional information may be available later and did not immediately share further details.
