The next full moon is two weeks away, and it will be the brightest supermoon of the year. It will orbit about 221,817 miles from Earth, closer than any other full moon in 2025, according to the Farmer’s Almanac. The moon’s average distance is about 238,855 miles, according to NASA .

The upcoming supermoon will be the second of three consecutive supermoons in 2025. The first appeared the evening of Oct. 6 to the morning of Oct. 7 . The next and last supermoon will take place on Dec. 4 at 3:14 a.m.
