NEW ORLEANS —

Nearly a year after WDSU Road Patrol first visited Lesley Duplessis' home in Treme, a hole in the road at the corner of Leharpe and North Robertson remains a persistent problem, growing deeper each day and contributing to rising water bills for residents.

"We got cones and flags and a lot of emails, but other than that, literally no progress. The hole has just gotten bigger and has become more of a hazard," Duplessis said. Advertisement

Back in December 2024, Duplessis contacted the Road Patrol about the hole in front of her house, which she said led to a $2,600 water bill.
