BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The Bismarck Larks are reflecting on their ninth season and their contribution to economic growth across the Bismarck-Mandan community, all while enjoying America's pastime.

This past summer, across 36 home games, the Larks welcomed just under 60,000 fans, putting them at a nearly 90% sold out average.

While the Larks primarily serve local fans through community outreach and memorable ballpark experiences, more than 5,700 tickets were purchased outside of the Bismarck-Mandan area, with visitors coming from 30 other U.S. states and even one Canadian province.

Hope Sisk, the marketing director for the Bismarck Larks, shared what this past season has been like and what their impact on the community means to them.
