BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Antero Foundation is no stranger to helping the community, as it has raised around $4.2 million in donations since its inception in 2019.

Back in July, the Antero Foundation hosted its 7th annual dodgeball tournament, which helped raise $170,000 to support five nonprofit organizations in Harrison County.

The five nonprofit recipients include Patrons of the Parks, Hero's Haven Child Advocacy Center, Genesis Youth Crisis Center, Harrison County CASA Program and the D.A.R.E. Program.

In a check presentation ceremony on Thursday, representatives from each organization spoke on their appreciation for Antero and what their portion of the funding will go toward.
