ELKINS, W.Va. (WBOY) — The streets of downtown Elkins came alive Thursday evening as a parade of inflatable dinosaurs, unicorns, and superheroes took over Davis Avenue for the annual Boo Mile Inflatable Costume Walk and Run, hosted by 1201 CrossFit and Nutrition in partnership with Beander’s Restaurant and Tavern.

What began as a lighthearted way to celebrate Halloween and fitness has quickly grown into one of the community’s most anticipated fall traditions. Laughter and cheers filled the crisp October air as families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts strolled or sprinted their way through the one-mile course, their inflatable costumes wobbling and bouncing with every step.
